Exit Poll: Opposition wins first round of presidential elections
WARSAW, Poland - An exit poll said Andrzej Duda nationalist opposition candidate wins the most votes in the first round of the presidential election and will face Poland, Bronislaw Komorowski liabilities at a May 24 runoff.
In a surprise predictions for Sunday's election, Duda won 34.8 percent of the vote for Komorowski 32.2 percent, according to a poll by IPSOS and TVN24 news agency PAP government owned.
Komorowski called predictions of a "serious warning" to those who want to have a "sense of Poland."
The survey predicted that no candidate will win more than 50 percent of the votes to avoid a runoff.
